Dr. Tamara Kroboth

Hi, my name is Dr. Tamara Kroboth, or Dr. K, as most people know me.  I grew up on Long Island and completed my undergraduate, dental, and orthodontic training at Stony Brook University – that’s 11 years in one school!  I always knew I wanted to work with kids, but I had the unique experience of having braces during dental school – being an ortho patient myself and seeing first-hand how it changed my life and confidence for the better made me passionate about making orthodontics my career.

I love being a part of Valley because I am able to do what I love – deliver personalized, high quality care in the form of not only straight teeth, but also a stable bite and harmonious profile.  While we create beautiful healthy smiles, we also have fun getting to know our patients and parents during their ortho journey!

I am board certified with the American Board of Orthodontics, and a member of the American Dental Association, the American Association of Orthodontists, as well as locally the Ninth Dental District.  I am currently the President of the Dutchess County Dental Society. I live in Dutchess County with my husband, Alex and our four cats – the newest one a naughty Siamese named Hairy Purrter. When I’m not busy as a cat lady in training, I am watching Star Wars and Harry Potter movies, hiking, or traveling.
